It's warm enough to play golf all year round and there's a 12-hole – soon to be
18-hole – course at Cortijo Grande (below), just a few minutes away from the house.

Within a 20-minute drive are Valle Del Este, Marina Golf and the Desert Springs Resort and Golf Course.

Desert Springs is Europe's only world-class desert golf course, with immaculate fairways set among rocky outcrops and dry riverbeds planted with hundreds of exotic plants and cacti. The English Golf Union selected Desert Springs as their Spanish home and the Royal Spanish Golf Federation chose it as the venue for the 2004 Spanish Amateur Open.
