The house is built into the hillside, and is on two levels. Upstairs is an open-plan living and dining room, a separate fully equipped kitchen, and a utility room.
French windows on both sides of the living and dining areas open on to terraces which helps keep the house cool in summer.
You can eat outside on the upper terrace or next to the pool, where there's a built-in barbecue. There are parasols and places to lounge in the sun or shade, whatever the time of day.
Winters are mild compared with northern Europe – there's plenty of sun, but the house also has central heating and a wood-burning stove.
Bedrooms
Three of the four bedrooms are downstairs, and two have French windows onto their own private terraces. Each has shutters to help keep them cool in summer, as well as air conditioning (or heating in winter). Bed linen and towels are provided.
Main double bedroom, above
• large double bed 5ft (150cm) wide.
• ensuite bathroom (above, right) with walk-in shower room, basin and WC.
• small private terrace.
• direct access to the lower terrace and swimming pool.
Second double
• standard double bed.
• French windows giving wide views of the valley.
A separate bathroom, left, with a combined bath and shower, basin and WC, is shared with the downstairs twin bedroom.

• two single beds 3ft (90cm) wide.
• private sun terrace.

Upstairs twin
